3 Portland at 6 Oklahoma City -5.5

 

Portland comes into Oklahoma City tonight having their 5 game winning streak snapped last game. Portland’s defense was key in their first 2 wins in this series only allowing 96.5 ppg, but in Game 3 they gave up 120 points in the 12 point loss to the Thunder. Damian Lillard has led the way for Portland this series averaging 30.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. CJ McCollum has also been key accounting for 26 points per game. He has also added in 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game.

Oklahoma City defended home court in Game 3 to bring the series to 2-1. Tonight they will be looking to even up the series as well. The Thunder got some much needed help from its role players in Game 3, as Schroder, Fergusen, and Grant combined to score 44 points, while converting 9 shots from behind the arc. Paul George is looking better each game back since returning from his shoulder injury and is saying he is back to full strength. In Game 3 George couldn’t find his shot going 3-16 from the field. He was able to get to the free throw line consistently tho going 14-17 and scoring 22 points to go with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. PG is averaging 25 points and 8 rebounds this series. Russell Westbrook heated up and found his shot last game leading the Thunder with 33 points going 4-6 from three. Russ added in 11 assists and 5 rebounds. He comes into Game 4 averaging 23.6 points, 8 rebounds, and 10.6 assists. The Thunder have won their past 4 home games by an average of 10.5 points, and they look to even up this series and defend home court once again.
