Over Under 2/2 – Los Angeles Chargers/Oakland Raiders

Philip Rivers have been enjoying a solid season in 2019. He’s averaging 289.9 passing yards on 37 pass attempts per game. Excluding touch matchups against the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos, Rivers is averaging 313.9 passing yards per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Oakland Raiders, who are allowing a league-high 297.5 passing yards per game. They’re also allowing 8.8 yards per attempt and 13.1 yards per completion. This game features a close spread, meaning Rivers could throw from the start to the end of this game.

Derek Carr has caught fire recently, throwing for 285+ yards in each of his last 3 games. With that being said, he’s averaging only 248 passing yards on 31.3 pass attempts per game. He has failed to reach the 266 yard total in each of his first 5 games this season. The Los Angeles Chargers rank fifth in the NFL in passing yards (208.7) allowed per game this season. The Chargers have struggled significantly more to defend the run this season. Oakland continues to feature Josh Jacobs, and that will likely be the case again this week. The Raiders can use Jacobs from the start to the end of this game with the spread projecting it to stay close. That may limit Carr’s passing potential, making him a strong candidate for the under.

Play 1 unit on Philip Rivers OVER 300.5 passing yards and Derek Carr UNDER 265.5 passing yards to win 3 units (3x)
