What Is Jock MKT?

The simplest way to outline this is daily fantasy sports meets the stock market. You’ll purchase shares of players for varying amounts, depending on how much others are willing to pay for them during the IPO. Once the Live Trading starts, you can buy players that others want to sell or sell your players during the game. Once all of the games have ended, you will receive money based on how well your player performs compared to the field on the Jock MKT app for this week.

Week 13 Results

Diontae Johnson

Highest Potential Bid: $6.00

Break-Even Point: 28

Johnson looked elite last weekend, finding tremendous success against the Baltimore Ravens. He posted 8 receptions for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. Johnson finished third on the slate last week. He ended worth $18, winning us $12 per share at his max bid.

Chase Claypool

Highest Potential Bid: $4.50

Break-Even Point: 38

With Johnson dominating, Claypool struggled against the Baltimore Ravens. He recorded only 2 receptions for 52 yards. He ended up being worth only $1, losing us $3.50 per share at his max bid.

Overall, we’d have won $8.50 per equal shares of Johnson and Claypool last week. Neither touched their max bid, though. Johnson cost $4.69 in the IPO, while Claypool cost $3.50. Overall, we’d have profited $10.81 per equal shares of these players.

Week 14 Buys

CeeDee Lamb

Highest Potential Bid: $6.00

Break-Even Point: 28

If you’re new to Jock MKT, you may be struggling to read what’s listed below the Lamb recommendations. Essentially, I’m willing to spend up to $6.00 per share for Lamb. He needs to finish 28th in the field for me to make my money back with the opportunity for me to make more if he finishes higher.

For example, if I buy 1 share of Lamb at $6.00 and he finishes 28th in this field, I make my $6.00 back. If he finishes 1st, I win $25 (profit $19). If he finishes last, I win $1 (lose $5). It’s that simple.

Lamb’s seen mixed results as he’s dealt with injuries throughout the 2021 season. Through 11 games, he owns 57 receptions for 829 yards and 6 touchdowns on 90 targets. Lamb’s posted double-digit fantasy points in 8 of his 11 games this season. He’s also posted 40 fantasy point upside throughout the season as well.

Lamb gets an elite matchup against the Washington Football Team in Week 14. They’re allowing 263.9 passing yards per game and 8.2 adjusted yards per attempt this season. Washington’s also given up 26 passing touchdowns with a league-high 6% passing touchdown rate in 2021.

Most importantly, the Football Team’s allowed a league-high 2,005 air yards this season. They haven’t truly struggled with yards after the catch, although they’ve given up the sixth-most airYAC (3,296) this season.

Lamb’s seen a team-high 27.7% of Dallas’ air yards this season. He’s recorded 1,044 air yards with an 11.6 aDOT thus far. Lamb’s looked great with the ball in his hands, as well, averaging 6.1 yards after the catch per reception in 2021. He boasts multiple ways to beat this Washington defense.

Lamb’s a focal point of the Dallas offense, especially with Amari Cooper struggling with lingering Covid issues. I expect the Cowboys to find plenty of success against Washington this weekend and using Lamb’s skillset to find that success is the most likely scenario. He boasts slate-breaking upside, making him an elite option this weekend.

Jarvis Landry

Highest Potential Bid: $4.25

Break-Even Point: 40

Landry’s been inconsistent while dealing with questionable quarterback play throughout the season. He’s posted 33 receptions for 356 yards and 2 touchdowns on 52 targets through 8 games. He’s recorded 10+ fantasy points in 4 of those 8 games, flashing 20 fantasy point upside.

Landry gets a great matchup against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. They’re allowing 272.4 passing yards per game and 8.3 adjusted yards per attempt this season. The Ravens have also given up 19 passing touchdowns with a 4.4% passing touchdown rate in 2021. In their only matchup this season, Landry posted 17.1 fantasy points, which was his second-highest total on the season.

Baltimore’s struggled a bit with air yards, allowing 1,670 air yards thus far. More importantly, they’ve given up the third-most yards after the catch (1,782) this season. Overall, they’ve allowed the second-most airYAC (3,452) in the NFL in 2021.

Landry isn’t a dominant air yards player, recording only 432 air yards with an 8.3 aDOT this season. More importantly for the matchup, he’s averaging 5.9 yards after the catch per reception. Landry’s consistently put in the position to create with the ball in his hands, which is the easiest way to beat the Baltimore defense.

Landry doesn’t boast as much upside as some of the other top receivers on this slate. With that being said, we don’t need to pay nearly as much to acquire him. Landry’s coming off of a great game without finding the end zone, and he gets the same matchup against the Ravens this week. He’s a great option for a relatively cheap price tag.
