There are only 4 games on the NHL docket tonight. Instead of giving you 8-10 value plays, let’s take a look at each game and find some value based on the projected outcome.
Ottawa@N.Y. Rangers- projected total: 6-7 goals. I can see the Rangers cruising to an easy win on home ice.
C–Filip Chytil NYR ($3600 FD only) Centers 2nd scoring and PP lines, will cost you $1100 more on DK.
G-Alexandar Georgiev NYR ($7800 DK, $7600 FD) Great home match up and is looking for 3rd straight win. Owns tiny 2.27 GAA and .933 SV%.
Pittsburgh@Boston-projected total: 6-7 goals. I like Boston to get a hard fought OT or shootout win.
C–Charlie Coyle BOS ($3700 DK $4700 FD) Gets PP time on 2nd unit. Bruins top line can’t carry this team every night, can they?
G-Matt Murray PIT ($7000 DK only) Great gpp play at this small price tag. Should see the highest shot volume tonight, and has 7 wins with a 2.17 GAA.
Nashville@Detroit-projected total: 6 goals. Nashville could win this by a lopsided score with an empty net goal or two at the end.
W–Colton Sissons NSH ($3700 DK $4700 FD) Gut feeling here. Seems like a good spot and has averaged a point per game in his last six.
G-Pekka Rinne NSH ($7800 DK only) Seems under priced on DK, On the road against a team and only won one game in it’s last 10.
Arizona@Edmonton-projected total: 5-6 goals. I can see Arizona keeping this one close and maybe pulling a low scoring upset.
D–Jordan Oesterle ARI ($3700 DK $3500 FD) Has blocked 15 shots in seven games, has a point in three of his last 5, and anchors the 2nd PP unit.
G-Mikko Koskinen EDM ($7900 both sites) Has five wins in seven appearances with a solid 2.28 GAA.
