Jaime’s EPL Week 23 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

Today we have a nice 7 game slate headlined by the big match of the week between Arsenal and Chelsea. That game could turn into a shootout. Liverpool and Manchester United should be the chalk of the slate and rightfully so since they are huge favorites going against Palace and Brighton. This seems like a very good gpp slate so let’s take something down this week!! Here are my picks for the week.

Forward

Top: Salah $11,000 and Hazard $10,500

Seems like we had to make the same decision last week. For cash game purposes I believe you need one of these guys to build your lineup. If i had to choose I would pick Salah but I think in gpp I am leaning at the moment towards fading both and going more balanced in my lineup.

Mid: Richarlison $7,200

Richie has not scored a goal since the day after Christmas. That changes this week when he faces Southampton. Before they held Chelsea scoreless last week they had given up 12 goals in their last 5 games. I love Richie in gpp’s this week and he is currently in my main gpp. He should have a big game here and make his way back onto the scoresheet. I also love Mane $8,200 who is also due for a big game here.

Value: Alvaro Morata $6,300

Morata has been really bad this year I get it but this is a price I can get used to. This game should turn into a goal fest and Morata should get the start against an Arsenal team that he already scored on a few months ago. This is deep gpp territory but I really think he scores here.

Midfielders

Top: Pogba $8,800

Pogba has been amazing the past few weeks and well Brighton has not been very good. Since being freed from Mourinho jail Pogba has not scored less than 10 points. This includes last week’s 17 point performance against Tottenham and Brighton is no Spurs. I expect a massive game here from Pogba.

.

Mid: Ryan Fraser $7,700

Fraser has been very good the past two weeks scoring 14 and 29 points against Everton and Watford. Last week he took 14 crosses against Everton and this I expect more of the same against West Ham. He is one of my favorite plays of the week. Matt Ritchie $6,600 makes for a really good play also against Cardiff.

Value: David Hoilett $5,600

He gets a decent match up against Newcastle and has not scored less than 7 points in his last 3 weeks including games against Leicester and Tottenham. Crossing numbers for him have also been elite taking 12 in his last two games combined. He makes for one of the best value plays on the slate and could completely smash if he gets a goal which he is capable of doing against Newcastle.

Defense

Top: Lucas Digne $6,600

Lucas is priced up as if he was a forward but if you look at his log he might as well be. 20, 10, 12 and 32 are his last four point totals which would rank him ahead of every forward on the slate. A stack of Digne and Richie makes a lot of sense. Holebas $6,100 finally got his mojo back last week crossing 12 times and assisting a goal. He should keep it going this week against a pretty bad Burnley team.

Mid: Robertson $5,500

Andrew has been really solid last few weeks averaging almost 10 points a game and he should shine against Palace this week. I really love the expensive defenders this week and will probably not dive to much into the mid range.

Value: Sol Bamba $3,300

Bamba is my favorite punt defender and he should not have much trouble reaching value against Newcastle. I can see myself going here and pairing him up with one of the high priced options on the slate.

Goalkeeper

Jordan Pickford $4,600

Everton is in a really good spot against Southampton. He should be a safe bet to get the win bonus and a few saves. I believe people will either pay all the way up to Alisson or pay down to Etheridge leaving Pickford to get some low ownership with some elite upside.

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on discord or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
