This week we get the biggest EPL slate of the year with seven games. Most of the heavy hitting teams are on the slate including Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham which should make for a very interesting day of DFS soccer with ownership being spread out with so many stars available.
I think we will need to have exposure to these teams but there are a lot good gpp pivots which I love that could really set us apart from the field.
Here are my DFS soccer picks for this week.
Leicester City: Jamie Vardy $7,200
Leicester is favored to win at over 60 percent. Huddersfield has allowed eleven goals in five games. This has all the makings of a very fun Vardy party! If we take out the game Vardy received a red card in Jamie Vardy is averaging over 11 points a game with only one goal.
He is due for a breakout game and there is no better place to break out than at home against Huddersfield. He is my favorite gpp EPL forward on the slate.
Also, consider Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino $8,400.
Firmino makes for the perfect pivot of a chalk Salah and Firmino has been awesome to start the season bagging two goals and two assist through the first 5 games. Wilfried Zaha $8,100 also makes for a juicy gpp DFS soccer play against Newcastle having scored goals in three out of his first four games.
If you are looking for a sub five percent goal for cheap you can look at Glenn Murray $5,500 who has been on fire to start the season with four goals. He has a tough matchup against Tottenham but for this price just a few shots should help us reach value with the upside of more.
Manchester City: Leroy Sane $8,700
Sane got his first start of the season last week and he absolutely crushed it. He scored a goal while adding seven crosses and two shots on goal to finish with twenty plus points. Manchester City are the biggest EPL favorites on the slate and you can bet that Sergio Aguero $10,300 will be the highest owned play probably on the entire slate.
This makes Sane an awesome pivot and if he gets the start I could see him contributing a goal and maybe an assist as well.
Also, consider Leicester Midfielder James Maddison $8,200. I love this play so much but worried about him being chalk which made me leave him out of my top spot at midfielder. Maddison has been awesome this season and gets a fantastic matchup against Huddersfield and pairing him with Vardy could be a really nice DFS soccer gpp stack for week 6.
Adama Traore $5,200 from Wolves and Fred $3,600 from United could make for some fun gpp plays if they get the start.
Tottenham: Kieran Trippier $6,400
Trippier is easily the top option at defender and I will be playing him in cash and gpp. The guy does it all for Tottenham and yes he will be fairly high owned in cash and gpp but do not overthink this one just play the man.
Also, consider these other gpp DFS soccer defenders: Ben Chilwell $5,300, Chris Lowe $4,100 and Chris Smalling $3,300.
Wolverhampton Wanderers: Rui Patricio $3,900
I do not see myself using a gpp build with any attacking players from Manchester United which makes this a pretty easy choice at goalie for me. Paying down here at goalie gives us the flexibility we need to construct our rosters this week in DFS soccer.
Patricio has not been bad either. He has scored 8, 16 and 14 points in his last three games. I will be locking him in as my gpp keeper for this slate.
As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on slack or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate DFS soccer this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
