Jaime’s EPL Week 7 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

What a fun slate we had last week. Hopefully everyone took my advice and enjoyed themselves a really fun Vardy Party. This week we get a nice 7 slate game again featuring most of the heavy hitters. Manchester City should smash against Brighton and they should be the chalk of the slate once again. We will need to find some pivots but some exposure to Man City will be needed. Tottenham is in a great spot and Everton and Fulham could produce some fireworks. Here are my picks for the week.

Forwards

Fulham: Aleksandar Mitrovic $6,800

Everton has allowed 6 goals through the first 6 games and Mitrovic has scored 5 goals through his first six games. This game has the makings of a shootout and I love the spot here for Mitrovic to get a goal or two against the leaky Everton defense. His floor is not even that bad when you consider he has taken 4 or more shots in four of his first six games including seven shots against Crystal Palace and 8 shots against Watford. Love the price also which allows us to fit in some of the Man City players we need to round out our lineups.

Also, consider Tottenham forward Harry Kane $9,900. If you thought Everton has a leaky defense Huddersfield has allowed 14 goals through the first 6 games and Eriksen has been ruled out which could provide Mr. Kane with a few more shots to find the back of the net. Raul Jimenez $7,300 makes for a nice gpp play in a game against Southampton where Wolves should win and score goals.

Midfielders

Wolves: Joao Moutinho $6,300

I really like the matchup here for Wolves against a lesser Southampton side. Moutinho comes in at a great price and has a monopoly of set pieces. He has scored 5 or more points in every single game he has played and has four games of 10 plus points including a 15 point performance which included a goal against Manchester United.

Also, consider Liverpool Midfielder James Milner $6,000. Milner is the only player I am interested from the Chelsea Liverpool game. He will also come with very low ownership being that it is the late game and everyone expects this game to be played tight. If you need a cheap play at midfield look no further than Watford midfielder Roberto Pereyra $4,700 and Jean Michael Seri $5,200 who plays Everton in a game that is expected to be a shootout and I expect Seri to rack up the points.

Defenders

Everton: Lucas Digne $5,600

I think I have made it obvious how much I like this Everton Fulham game this week. The former Barcelona man has been awesome since joining Everton scoring 10 plus points in every game he has played. His crossing numbers just keep going up as well. In his last three games he has taken 6,7 and 10 crosses last game against Arsenal.

Also, consider Watford defender Jose Holebas $5,300 who seems way too cheap for a guy who could go cross crazy against an Arsenal team that allowed Lucas Digne to take 10 crosses. If you just want to punt defender take a look at John Stones $3,700 if he gets the start and Wolves defender Willy Boly $3,800.

Goalkeeper

Watford: Ben Foster $3,800

Watford has a great chance to pull the upset against Arsenal and Foster should be tested with enough shots by the Arsenal strikers to rack up the save points. He could be looking at a big day if he also gets the clean sheet and win and for this price it would be a massive play for us. I currently do not have any Arsenal players in my build which makes me feel even better about this pick.

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on slack or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
