James Harden
Clear cut play here, especially on FanDuel where he’s only 11.5k. Small slate and there is no House or Capela so Harden will have more opportunities to rebound the ball as well. He’s going to be chalk vs the Hawks tonight.
Trae Young
Trae has been lighting it up from the field and had 49(!) Points last night vs the Pacers. I usually don’t play players after they have blow up nights but Trae even without good shooting can hit value. I love his upside vs the rockets and he will probably be in all my lineups as well.
The Value
DeAndre’ Bembry
Bembrey has had his best season so far in his young career. With Reddish dealing with a wrist injury that’s had him limited or out, Bembrey has seen a ton of minutes, most significantly 40 minutes last night. The B2b does worry me, but he’s too cheap, and if Reddish is out he’s a core play
Gary Clark
Gary was the prime recipient of the recent injuries that have plagued the Rockets last game, receiving 29 minutes against Miami. Tonight the Rockets will face a bad defense in Atlanta that also plays to the pace of the Rockets. Mike D’antoni also stated that they will find minutes for Gary because of his stellar play last game. Being cheap on all sites, he should be a very popular value play that will have a huge opportunity to replicate his production from last game.
Tournament Plays
Ersan Ilyasova
Ersan will probably see some center minutes tonight with Brook Lopez out- and his upside for tournaments is what I’m looking for on a 3 game slate. 20 minutes tonight is what I’m looking for!
Robin Lopez
This is strictly a risky play due to our lack of knowledge on how coach Bud will use his players.. seeing that this is the first game Brook will be out. This matchup against the Hornets may look like one where a big is needed to match up with Cody Zeller, which helps out the reasoning behind Robin. Robin is cheap across all sites and has the opportunity to receive 20+ minutes. He’s even starting to shoot 3s now, just like his twin brother.
