NBA DFS 12/26/21 – Spike’s Core Plays

KARMA NATION! I hope everyone’s Christmas was great, everyone should be ready to get back to business in DFS! I am on Sunday core play’s from now on and I’m very excited about tonight’s slate. There is tons of value opening up by the minute with health protocols nearly taking over the NBA. I’m going to go over some of the essential locks and great plays available for tonight so let’s get started!

Today’s Core Plays

Derrick White has become a lock for me tonight.  With Dejounte Murray in protocols, he should take over starting point guard duties and be heavily involved in San Antonio’s offense.  White was already a big impact even with Murray active.  The majority of the offense should funnel through him tonight.  If youre looking to spend down a little more on the guard position, Coby White should also be locked into big minutes with Alex Caruso and Lonzo Ball inactive.  The Memphis grizzlies will also be short handed as Dillon Brooks and DeAnthony Melton have both landed in protocols.  Desmond Bane should see more usage and more minutes than usual.  He is also in a great matchup against the Kings who re terrible at defending guards this year.  Guillermo Hernangomez should be locked into big minutes again as Jonas Valanciunas remains out.  He is a rebound monster who can also add points and blocks.

Value Plays

There are a ton of value plays tonight with all the injuries and health protocols.  Tacko Fall got the start last game and was cleaning up on the boards when he was in. At a 3300 price tag, he should be able to hit value and possibly more against a depleted Toronto team.  Svi Mykhailiuk should also see plenty of minutes as I just stated Toronto is hurting badly just to field a team tonight.  Frank Jackson is 4800 and quite frankly, Detroit is running out of guards to use.  Locked into big minutes and an ability to score and get hot, he is completely viable at 4800.

Core plays- Derrick White, Desmond Bane, Guillermo Hernangomez, Svi Mykhailiuk.
