Power Play

Chris Paul has seen plenty of ups and downs throughout the 2019 season. He’s averaging 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.7 steals (35.9 fantasy points) in 30.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Overall, he has been a bit of a boom or bust option. Paul has scored 40+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 7 games, while scoring less than 25 fantasy points in 2 of those games. He gets a plus matchup against the Houston Rockets tonight. They currently rank second in the NBA in pace and 17th in defensive rating. In his last game against Houston, Paul needed only 27 minutes to score 43.7 fantasy points. While he is a bit of a risky option, Paul could have extra incentive to perform well against him former team tonight.

Russell Westbrook also gets a matchup against his former team tonight. He scored only 36.9 fantasy points in 33 minutes in their last matchup. With that being said, Westbrook scored 34 points in that game, adding only 2 rebounds and 5 assists to his line. He’s a player known for adding peripheral stats, as he’s averaging 32.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.5 steals (53.9 fantasy points) in 37.2 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Westbrook has scored 54+ fantasy points in each of his last 3 games, including a triple-double against the Portland Blazers. Westbrook could look for revenge after losing to his former team in their last matchup, and this total is a bit low for his ability to contribute in multiple categories.

Play 1 unit on Chris Paul OVER 37.5 fantasy points and Russell Westbrook OVER 50.0 fantasy points to win 2.5 units (2.5x)
