Thoughts:

Updates to come to this section as we approach lock so continue to check back for more insight.

  • There are a ton of elite options tonight which helps shape up tonight as a much better slate than last night where we were starved from a roster construction spot.
  • Tonight my build is going to start off with the Doncic/Porzingis-Ingram game stack where those three players are among the top five values on the slate.
  • A similar approach will be taken in my other 3-max teams where I will be pairing up Beal and Hachimura with a possible bring back of Evan Fournier.  Beal and Hachimura project in the top 10 values of the slate while Fournier is also a positive value.
  • The value on today’s slate seems to be coming mostly from the PF/C position but I’m going to include all of the top 10 values on the slate (below 6k) below so you are able to fit the Doncic/Beal plays of this slate
      • Jakob Poletl
      • Thomas Bryant
      • Rudy Gay
      • Rui Hachimura
      • Lonzo Ball
      • Aaron Gordon
      • JaMychal Green
      • Patrick Beverly
      • Justise Winslow
      • Josh Hart
      • Tim Hardaway Jr.
  • I think this is a great slate to get a game stack implemented into your lineups.  The Magic/Wizards and Mavericks/Pelicans are where my attention and exposure is going to be focused.
  • Obviously it is important to stay up to date on what value opens up closer to lock and weigh extreme value decisions (due to rest/injury).
  • Remember to try to add as much correlation to your lineups as possible.  More games go to OT than you think in the NBA and mini-game stacks are an underutilized strategy in NBA DFS tournaments.  (Again, you can use the table above to identify the game-stacks I’ll be on).
