Bobby’s NBA GPP Top Plays (3/24/19)

Similair quick hits top plays article today with there only being four games on this main slate.

My core continues to be on fire so make sure to check that out tonight by purchasing the NBA Core Plays package at dfskarma.com/shop and asking any questions you have in Discord tonight to fill out the rest of your lineup. Make sure as usual to leverage some of my TOP GPP options with a core of chalkier plays. Let’s get into my top GPP plays for this slate.

AS NBA is a game where last-minute real-life changes are made before tipoff, always monitor breaking news up to last second!

The plays below in this daily article are low owned pivots and GPP plays. This means that these players will be RELATIVELY low owned, and ‘contrarian’ relative to the more highly owned, chalky plays of the night.  I emphasize upside/leverage over ownership, particularly in NBA DFS.

BALL IN!

Point Guard

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Stick to the top dogs here.
  2. Harden, Irving, Paul, Fox, and Curry are all elite plays in both formats.

Shooting Guard

Top GPP Plays:

  1. If you’re not playing Harden/Curry in the SG position, the only players I would consider are Buddy Hield, Jaylen Brown (chalky), and DeMar DeRozan (although I’d rather use that salary to pay for the other elite PG’s).

Small Forward

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Kevin Durant: Flopped without Steph Curry last night.  I was one of the people burned by it and it’s tough to roster him tonight.  Seems he’s better when Curry is the point guard. Now he’s below 9k? Great play.
  2. Kenrich Williams: When he gets minutes he produces.  He brings in a ton of rebounds and playing 30 minutes a night is more than enough time for him to hit GPP value at his price on DK.
  3. Harrison Barnes: Absolute bargain.  This Kings team is muddy given so many options but I love the consistency of Barnes in addition to his ceiling.  Priced very fairly.

Power Forward

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Rudy Gay: No one ever plays him because he’s “washed”.  He’s been GREAT while on the floor averaging 1.1 FP/min this month.  I love this leverage play in this price range.  Everyone will pay up here.
  2. Blake Griffin: Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you he’s way too cheap.  Elite ceiling.  He’s had quite the rough stretch of late but I expect him to make a push back to form these last couple weeks before the playoffs.

Center

Top GPP Plays: Center is a bit weaker than usual today so I’ll be looking for some value options here.

  1. JaVale McGee – Obviously elite ceiling but probably the riskiest of these options price considered.
  2. Julius Randle
  3. Clint Capela
  4. Daniel Thies?
  5. Draymond Green
