NBA DFS 1/14/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Saturday night…

Players Listed As Questionable

Even with the NFL playoffs kicking off — we still have a six game NBA DFS slate to entertain us this evening. As of now, there isn’t a ton of crazy injury situations to monitor but as always on the weekend, it’s likely more stuff pops up. The big news today is that the Pacers on once again on the slate after all of their value plays absolutely smashed on Friday night. Tyrese Haliburton remains out — while Myles Turner is Q to play after missing last night. I’m not listing him below because I will just address it right here — we are 100% going to be stuffing in multiple Pacers players again and if Turner is out…it will be the same situation as last night with 4+ pacers in one lineup potential. Stay tuned to the Building Blocks article later in the day. For now, I’ll highlight the key situations we are watching and if anything crazy pops up I’ll be in Discord to answer questions. You can hop in the Discord for free here.

Christian Wood

We would see some more minutes for the other frontcourt players and there would be more shot attempts for guys like Tim Hardaway Jr and Spencer Dinwiddie.

Damian Lillard

He was listed Q the other night and ended up playing and torching the Cavs so I’m going to assume him as in right now. If he’s out, Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons get big bumps while Jusuf Nurkic and Josh Hart see some small rate increases as well. Shaedon Sharpe would likely start in his place.

Tobias Harris

Some potential value will open up here on the wing depending on who starts for him – but look for Tyrese Maxey and James Harden to see more shot volume. Harden gets a 7% usage rate increase with him off the floor.

Dillon Brooks

John Konchar is also out for the Grizzlies so they could be really thin if Brooks is ruled out. Zaire Williams and David Roddy would likely see increased run but I think that would also make Desmond Bane a great play in the mid-tier.
