NBA DFS 2/10/21 – Ben’s Building Blocks

Guard

Lamelo Ball- I had the Guard spot down to Lamelo Ball and Malcolm Brogdon, and have chosen to side with Ball once again against the Grizzlies. I think this will be a close game as evidenced by the 4 point spread, and we can’t ignore what Ball has been doing on a nightly basis. He will start at point guard once again with Devonte Graham out, and has topped 50 DK points in two of his last three games. He’s the team leader in both usage rate and point per minute production right now, and that holds true with Graham off the floor. I think the price hike will keep ownership in check, and there’s a good chance we get him at 10% or less on Wednesday night.

Forward

Domantas Sabonis- The Nets/Pacers game features a slate-high 235 O/U and will be one of the primary focuses for DFS players tonight. Much has been made of the Nets poor defensive performance since acquiring James Harden, particularly against big men. The fast-paced nature of this game fits well with Sabonis’ ability to stuff the stat sheet, and he’s been the best per minute player on the Pacers this season at 1.29. We also can factor in his. once again, egregiously low price tag on DK. He comes in at sub-$9K once again despite hitting 59+ DK points multiple times in the last week and a half. I love this game and will look to get some some Nets correlation with him in my main lineup.

Center

Isaiah Roby- The Thunder will once again be playing tonight’s game with only eight players, and that has us focused on Isaiah Roby at under $4,000 on DraftKings. He’s been just south of a point per minute player this season, and we have him projected for over 26 minutes tonight due to the Thunder’s injury situations. It’s likely he will come off the bench today, but he should get pretty much all of the backup C minutes behind Al Horford. Either way, he will be forced into a role with only eight players available and he is way too cheap on DK. He will be one of the highest owned players there today.
