NBA DFS 2/10/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Friday…

Players Listed As Questionable

It was a whirlwind NBA trade deadline on Thursday with more moves than anyone expected. That leaves a lot of stuff up in the air on Friday, with the status of players joining new teams completely different team by team. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Pending Trades

So I’m going to list the players involved in trades here, and their current status:

Jakob Poeltl- pretty big one here, if he’s active he will most likely be starting in his debut and that takes any value away from the Toronto frontcourt – we also don’t know what the team will look like with him playing.

Mike Conley- If he’s in he will be starting, but if he’s out we get another chance for a Jaylen Nowell smash at a value price.

Josh Hart- I’m not sure who he is going to affect the most outside of Grimes, I also think he can hurt Randle’s ceiling with the way he rebounds.

Joel Embiid

He is one of the guys that’s always listed as Q these days it feels like — if he’s out we can lock in Montrezl Harrell as a top value and James Harden will be one of the top projections on Friday’s slate.

Keldon Johnson + Tre Jones + Jeremy Sochan

Classic Spurs messing up the whole slate per usual. I will update the situation in my afternoon article, but there will likely be some value here with Josh Richardson traded. Keita Bates-Diop and Malachi Branham will be the likely winners with Zach Collins already being a free square due to the departure of Poeltl.

Rudy Gobert

And like Embiid, it’s the same situation as always. No Gobert makes Naz Reid a top play and bumps the ceiling on Anthony Edwards. Edwards may already be a top play due to the departure of D’Angelo Russell while Towns remains out.

Jayson Tatum

This is a big spot because Jaylen Brown is already out. Sam Hauser and Grant Williams are the winners here and I like both even if Tatum is active — it looks like the big-men will be back tonight though.

Jordan Clarkson

Bump to Collin Sexton, especially with Conley traded and one of Talen Horton-Tucker or Agbaji will likely have a decent game as well.
