NBA DFS 2/26/23 – Spike’s Building Blocks

What’s up everyone and welcome to Spike’s Building Blocks! If you’ve never read my content before, welcome. To those that have, welcome back. I truly appreciate everyone that reads and supports during NBA season. This article is designed for me to highlight the top plays of the day. Obviously, things can change rapidly in the NBA with injury news close to lock, so I would be sure to subscribe to our premium package for access to our Final Thoughts cheat sheet, our premium discord channel and my core plays. Our Core Plays product gives you the ability to tail all of our analysts in your contests each night. We do the work for you, and you simply plug and play with our premium Core Plays. With that being said, let’s hop into the plays…

Building Blocks

Damian Lillard

As much as I want to write up Jokic, Lillard makes much more sense. Dame gets an elite matchup against Houston and Nurkic and Simons are still out. The Rockets are atrocious against scoring guards and Lillard should see a usage bump with half the starters off the court. I expect him to do a lot of work here and a double-double is very likely. Houston is also decimated with injuries which only helps Dame out more. This is my top spend up option and it is no secret as he is projecting for nearly 50% ownership (as he rightfully should).

KJ Martin

On the other side of this game is Martin. As I mentioned above the Rockets are extremely short handed which shold result in more minutes. He should see 30-35 minutes tonight and is under 6k. This is a recipe for success and he has been a soid fantasy point per minute player when starting. Blowout run is something he should see and he clearly gives everything while on the court if you have watched him play.

Note: Still waiting on some injury news that has yet to drop so stay tuned in the discord channels to get updated on it!

Value Plays

Isaiah Joe

SGA has been ruled out which makes this arguably the best value on the slate. We have him projected to 30 fantasy points at a price tag of 3.9k. It is a pace up spot as well since the Kings play at such a fst pace which should only help him more. Joe should take over point guard duties again as we saw the other night. This is an elite value play that should be in every lineup you make in DFS tonight! For what it’s worth, most of the Thunder are in play, Isaiah is just the best value. Giddey, Dort and Jalen Williams are all fantastic plays as well.
