NBA DFS 2/4/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Saturday…

Players Listed As Questionable

I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Russ Westbrook

This game isn’t featured on the main slate – but I’m including it here just to note that with Russ getting downgraded to Q…could we see a Kyrie Irving trade on the horizon? Things are going to get crazy as we approach the trade deadline!

Nikola Jokic

This slate is an absolute mess when it comes to injury news — if Jokic is out look for Zeke Nnaji to start and the remaining starters to get big boosts. Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon in particular would stand out.

Jalen Brunson

Brunson was scratched in the Knicks last game which resulted in huge minutes for Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes. This would be a great situation to target if he’s out — both Quickley and Grimes become top values while Julius Randle and RJ Barrett see increased ceilings.

Spencer Dinwiddie

As I noted above…this slate is a mess. Luka Doncic and Christian Wood are already out and now Dinwiddie is listed Q. These prices have come up some since Doncic and Wood have been missing time, but if all three are out we are going to be plugging in multiple Mavericks tonight. Hardaway Jr, Finney Smith and even Reggie Bullock would be viable in all formats.

Jalen Green

And another messy spot. Kevin Porter Jr is already out, and Jalen Green missed their last game. With it being a back-to-back, Eric Gordon and Jae’Sean Tate will both also likely miss this game. We could be plugging in 2+ Rockets into our builds tonight. Josh Christopher is one of the top values already but we will likely get more value here throughout the day.

Golden State Warriors

Both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are listed Q tonight. If both miss, look for Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga to get big bumps while Steph Curry would be a top spend-up in all formats.
