NBA DFS 2/5/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Sunday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Sunday awards us a small five game slate on FanDuel — and four games over on DraftKings. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Ja Morant

Morant seems likely to play on Sunday, but he is still listed questionable to play. This team is already down Dillon Brooks due to a suspension — so if Morant was out we would really be targeting multiple Grizzlies. Tyus Jones would be the top value play on the slate should he miss — with the remaining starters all forced into consideration as well.

Joel Embiid

Obviously huge news here as well, if he misses look for James Harden to be near the top of our projections while Montrezl Harrell would become a top value option on all sites. The remaining starters, such as Tobias Harris, would be strong options.

Rudy Gobert

It’s been the same game with Gobert for the last month it feels — if he misses lock in Naz Reid and it’s that simple. I also like Anthony Edwards more if he’s out.

Jaren Jackson

Like Morant, it’s looking likely that Jackson plays but we could get a super-thin team here if they both miss. Ziaire Williams already gets a boost from no Brooks, but he would get a further bump if Jackson’s out while Santi Aldama would be a must play in all formats with him likely starting in his place.

Kyle Anderson

This could open some value for whoever starts in his place, Taurean Prince is the most likel
