NBA DFS 3/1/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Wednesday!

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Wednesday! There are several teams on back-to-backs tonight and it’s a huge slate…I’m expecting chaos. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Jonas Valanciunas

This is the biggest true Q tag on tonight’s slate — and if he’s out we would get Willy Hernangomez as one of the top overall value plays on both sites. Jaxson Hayes would get a boost as well.

D’Angelo Russell

Russell looks doubtful to play on the back-to-back after missing last nights game, which should once again boost Dennis Schroder, Malik Beasley and Anthony Davis to massive ownership numbers.

PJ Washington

Smaller one here, but Mark Williams will continue to feature a higher ceiling projection and JT Thor will start in his place.

Overall Injury Situations

So, as of now those are the only spots to watch — while there are several guys already ruled out. More stuff will pop up, but I’ll address some of the bigger names below:

Lamelo Ball- with him being out Terry Rozier and Dennis Smith Jr will greatly benefit. Mark Williams leads the team in fantasy points per minute with Ball/Wahsington/Plumlee off the floor this season.

SGA- Still big bumps for guys like Dort and Giddey with Isaiah Joe starting.

Jalen Duren + Isaiah Stewart- Bojan Bogdanovic will be back tonight to take PF minutes from Marvin Bagley, while James Wiseman should start at center.

This is pretty much all for now – it’s pretty much a lock that more will pop up later with so many teams on B2B’s so check this afternoon’s article for an update!
