NBA DFS 3/18/23 – Spike’s Building Blocks

What’s up everyone and welcome to Spike’s Building Blocks! If you’ve never read my content before, welcome. To those that have, welcome back. I truly appreciate everyone that reads and supports during NBA season. This article is designed for me to highlight the top plays of the day. Obviously, things can change rapidly in the NBA with injury news close to lock, so I would be sure to subscribe to our premium package for access to our Final Thoughts cheat sheet, our premium discord channel and my core plays. Our Core Plays product gives you the ability to tail all of our analysts in your contests each night. We do the work for you, and you simply plug and play with our premium Core Plays. With that being said, let’s hop into the plays…

Building Blocks

Desmond Bane

Grizzlies get a date with the Warriors in Memphis. Normally I would give Golden State the upper hand but they have been atrocious on the road. The spread is at even and I agree this game should be close despite Ja being out. Bane is the type of player who can really do it all. Priced at 7.8k on Draftkings and we have him projected to get about 44 fantasy points which exceeds 5x value. His ceiling is nearly 60 FP’s and Warriors have been mediocre against shooting guards all year.

Domantas Sabonis

Sabonis gets a matchup against the Wizards who have struggled against scoring centers such as Domantas. I also believe this game stays close as Washington has players that can score as well. Gafford is going to struggle heavily here as Domantas can stretch the floor and is very versatile all over. I wouldn’t really be surprised to see another triple-double from him in such a favorable matchup. Projecting for around 15% ownership isn’t too shabby on a six game slate and he will be a priority for me in my GPP lineups.

Note: Still waiting on some injury news that has yet to drop so stay tuned in the discord channels to get updated on it!

Value Plays

Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Minnesota is pretty much sitting their entire starting lineup tonight which means NAW should benefit greatly. Priced at near minimum price at 3.5k is just way too low. NAW should see up to 30 minutes and gets a big usage rate with the starters all out. Projecting for around 40% ownership but it should be higher in reality. Usually in games like this he performs extremely well and he is a MUST in all contests for me.
