  • Hello all and welcome back for another DFS Karma Game Theory! Today there isn’t a ton of injury news that we are waiting on. There’s been a lot announced already, many due to the COVID 19 protocols and players being ruled out due to inconclusive/positive tests and contract tracing. I’m hoping that the NBA doesn’t get suspended again this season but the way it is right now, there is just so much uncertainty every night and it is hard for teams to play right now. There is a chance this could be the last slate for NBA for a little. I will be going over the key spots we need to attack here, but just remember the NO v DAL game is postponed. Although there was a lot of news announced,  there are a few players we have to look out for and keep an eye on, which I will go over later in the article. However, you can get updates and analysis on reports by following the link attached. There are 7 games today which means there will be more variance. The more games there are, the more spread out the ownership percentages are for each player.
  • This is my favorite slate of the year. 7 games is perfect. We are waiting on news on Trae Young, Collin Sexton, Buddy Hield, Kevin Huerter and Richaun Holmes. Nothing too impactful here and I don’t think these players being in/out will change my thoughts at all. Let’s go right into this. I’m locked in!!
  • First off, this Philadelphia 76ers team is extremely short handed and will be the fantasy gold mine of the day. Let’s just get it out of the way and lock in at least 2 76ers today- one being Embiid and the other being Maxey. Guys like Isaiah Joe and Dakota Mathias will play heavy minutes but lack the upside production wise. I like Joe for 30+ minutes but I expect the 76ers to literally force feed Joel Embiid tonight. The other guy I would love is Danny Green. Trust me. I don’t like this guy at all but he will chuck up his 15 shots and probably hit like 5 of them, if we’re lucky. However his steals and blocks provide that upside we need and especially in this matchup, he will play 32+ minutes. Prioritize at least Embiid and Maxey, and add on Danny Green/Isaiah Joe.
  • The other spot I like for today’s slate is Washington Wizards v Phoenix Suns. I absolutely love this game here- lock in Bradley Beal. Wizards will be without Russell Westbrook for a week. I like guys like Ish Smith, Rui Hachimura, Raul Neto, and Davis Bertans to pick up the slack a bit. Also, with Thomas Bryant out for the year, expect Moe Wagner to pick up some run and hopefully emerge as the starting center over Robin Lopez. On the Suns side I love DeAndre Ayton and I would love to play both him and Embiid on DK.
  • My core for cash games will be Bradley Beal, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid
  • For tournaments, I like the core of Isaiah Joe, Rui Hachimura, DeAndre Ayton
  • Notes:
    • How do we choose between Randle and Sabonis?
    • Devonte Graham finally going to hit some shots?
    • Memphis is in a smash spot here. I love Tyus/Clarke.
    • On FanDuel, how many lineups can I make without Embiid?
  • Now, I will go over my full player pool for today, below.
  • Guys who I will have exposure to today in no particular order [other than those in table above] (PLAYER POOL)

  • Isaiah Joe
  • Chris Paul
  • Ish Smith/Raul Neto
  • Cole Anthony
  • Dillon Brooks
  • Terrence Ross
  • Kyle Anderson
  • Dillon Brooks
  • RJ Barrett
  • Giannis Antetokoumpo
  • Andre Drummond
  • Pascal Siakam
  • PJ Washington
