Updates to come to this section as we approach lock so continue to check back for more insight.

  • Hello all and welcome back for another DFS Karma Game Theory! Today there isn’t a ton of injury news,  but there are a few players we have to look out for and keep an eye on, which I will go over later in the article. However, you can get updates and analysis on reports by following the link attached. There are 10 games today which means there will be more variance. The more games there are, the more spread out the ownership percentages are for each player.
  • This is a larger 10 game Friday slate. There has been a lot of news that came out early, which includes Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Aaron Gordon, Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams all OUT. We are still waiting on news for Steph Curry, LeBron James/Anthony Davis (b2b, potential rest candidates), Christian Wood, Evan Fournier, Jeff Teague, De’Aaron Fox, Joe Ingles, and Richaun Holmes.
  • First off, this Brooklyn Nets vs Memphis Grizzlies game is interesting because for one, Brooklyn is still without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They are on a second end of a b2b after an impressive win vs the 76ers led by Caris Levert. Caris should be locked into all your cash games and I find it hard to fade him even in tournaments. I love the pairing of him and one of Jarrett Allen or Joe Harris. Harris played off the bench again which for some reason I just don’t understand. He played well and shot the ball well but I definitely like him more with the starting unit. Allen has had a phenomenal season so far and he’s finally getting the opportunity to start. Although I don’t love the matchup vs Valanciunas due to foul trouble, Allen has actually held his own this season and has limited his fouling issues. The Nets will definitely be the team I am most exposed to tonight. I will have almost 100% Caris Levert. On the Memphis side, I love Tyus Jones, Dillon Brooks, Kyle Anderson, and Brandon Clarke. Especially on FanDuel where they are fairly priced, they are in prime positions to exceed value. I actually don’t mind a game stack here. I would love to have a couple pieces from here despite both teams being on the second end of B2Bs.  Favorite plays here, in order: Caris Levert, Jarrett Allen, Kyle Anderson, Joe Harris, Tyus Jones, Brandon Clarke.
  • Let’s talk about the game of the night, for social media- and that would be the showdown of Lonzo Ball v LaMelo Ball. I’ve been waiting for this matchup for years ever since their high school days. I can’t wait to see these Ball Brothers face off vs each other like the days in their backyard. I expect them to go hard and they are similarly priced with similar numbers, floors, and upsides. This game in general is a fantasy goldmine. I love the Pelicans side in Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. Steven Adams GPP FLIER. I like Gordon Hayward, PJ Washington and LaMelo Ball for the Hornets side. This should be a very very fun game to watch and I cannot wait to see the Ball Brothers face off.
  • My core for cash games will be Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, Khem Birch
  • For tournaments, I like the core of Caris LeVert, Nikola Vucevic, Cole Anthony
  • Notes:
    • If Fox is out, is Haliburton a must?
    • Is LeBron/AD going to play on the second half of a b2b? I think yes because they lost yesterday as well.
    • Kyle Anderson bounce back game?
    • Khem Birch locked with no Aaron Gordon? Getting run at the 4 now! If no Fournier too…
    • If Joe Ingles is out, will Royce O’Neale get 35+ minutes of run?
    • Will Christian Wood play?
  • Now, I will go over my full player pool for today, below.
  • Guys who I will have exposure to today in no particular order [other than those in table above] (PLAYER POOL)

  • Kyle Lowry
  • Tyus Jones
  • Chris Chiozza
  • Austin Rivers
  • Paul George
  • Jaylen Brown
  • Andrew Wiggins
  • Dillon Brooks
  • Jayson Tatum
  • Brandon Ingram
  • RJ Barrett
  • Pascal Siakam
  • Steven Adams
