Updates to come to this section as we approach lock, so continue to check back for more insight.

Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article. Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a smaller sized slate with very little injury news, but let’s dig into it! Check out my NBA First Impression Video to get more insight on the totals and injuries of the day.

  • Since there is very little injury news, I will be going over which games I want to attack and which provide the highest upside for tournaments. With only 5 games on deck, and multiple high paced games, such as MIA v HOU, PHI v POR, and ORL v GS, it’s going to be hard to pick and choose our spots here. Almost all the games are game stackable, other than the TOR/BOS game which I think is hard to game stack due to the high prices of the players there with little value. With that being said, let’s dive into MY favorite game of the day.
  • Miami v Houston is probably my favorite game of the day to stack due to the value that is presented here for a game stack- Houston should be near full health minus Christian Wood, which means they should keep this pretty competitive. I like John Wall, Victor Oladipo and DeMarcus Cousins for the “studs” on the Houston side, while Danuel House and JaeSean Tate make decent GPP plays. However, the real team I am targeting here in “CASH” is the Miami Heat. I love Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Kelly Olynyk and Jimmy Butler in ALL formats. I think they are fantastic plays in all formats and I wouldn’t be opposed to Kendrick Nunn or Duncan Robinson in tournaments only.
  • The next game I am targeting is the ORL v GS game. I love this game but keep an eye out for the Cole Anthony and Evan Fournier news. We have to keep our eyes out because if Cole Anthony ends up sitting, that would boost Frank Mason to the “orange” category in which he will be CASH. I like James Ennis, Nikola Vucevic and Terrence Ross for all formats as well. I think that they are fantastic plays and will be even better if one of Anthony or Fournier is out. Dwayne Bacon as well is in play for tournaments.
  • The last game I like for today is the PHI v POR game. This’ll be the hardest to game stack due to the high prices of the studs here, but we can pick and choose our spots. Damian Lillard will continue to shoulder the load for the Blazers with McCollum out. He is in a fine spot tomorrow and the 76ers struggled to guard De’Aaron Fox along with multiple other scoring PGs as of late. He will need to have a big game to keep this one close. I like Enes Kanter to pair with him, as Kanter has had great success vs Embiid in the past. On the 76ers side, they will be healthy minus Shake Milton, who is doubtful. Tyrese Maxey, Seth Curry and Furkan Korkmaz should get extra run in his absence.

That is all for today’s article! I appreciate you guys all for reading and as always, it’s been your boy Tristan aka SrirachaDFS, and I’m out, peace!
