3 Philadelphia 76ers at 2 Toronto Raptors -6

Game 7! It’s win or go home here and everything is at risk tonight as we head north of the border to see who advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. So much is at risk for both of these teams as they have both risked a lot to just make it this far. The 76ers spent many years tanking and acquiring top draft picks in hopes to make a run at a championship. Toronto traded away one of their star players for a player that isn’t even certain to stay in Toronto past this year. The 76ers were able to break a 14 game losing streak in Toronto in Game 2. They have lost by a average of 6.9 points in their last 17 games in Toronto. Teams who lose Game 6 by double digits are 10-14 ATS in game 7.

Jimmy Butler lead the 76ers to a win in Game 6 as they avoided elimination. Butler has lead the team in scoring 4 of the 6 games, and is averaging 19.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. He must be able to lead these young players tonight and calm them down when needed. Joel Embiid is the biggest concern for the 76ers tonight, if his knee is feeling good they will have a great shot at upsetting the Raptors tonight. Embiid is averaging 20.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and is adding in 2 blocks a game. He had a monster +40 rating last game while he was on the court and will be heavily counted on again tonight. JJ Redick is the wildcard and will be important for the 76ers to steal this game. He has shot poorly from 3 the last 2 games going 4-13.

All the pressure is on the home favorite Toronto Raptors tonight with their home playoff failures in the past. Toronto is the #1 scoring defense in the playoffs as they are only giving up 96.5 points per game. The Raptors are tied for 4th in the league in field goal percentage with 46.1%. Kawhi has been the leader of this team through the playoffs and put up 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists in the Game 6 loss. He is averaging 31 points and 8.5 rebounds this post season. Toronto has another 20+ point per game player in Pascal Siakam who is averaging 21.6 points and 6.9 rebounds. The Raptors must get some more production from their bigs tonight. Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka are both only averaging a little over 8 points and 5 rebounds per game. Toronto will be doing what ever they can to escape with the win tonight. I expect to see and lower scoring very close battle here as both teams are top 10 in defensive scoring and neither team wanting to make many early mistakes.
