NBA DFS 3/6/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Monday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Monday! We start NCAA conference tourney week with just a six game NBA DFS slate. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Boston Celtics

This is definitely the biggest spot to watch with Boston coming off that crazy 2OT loss to New York yesterday. We know that Robert Williams is out and Al Horford is unlikely to play — which provides big upgrades to whoever starts in his place between Blake Griffin and Mike Muscala as well as Grant Williams. Malcolm Brogdon has missed two games, so we will see whether or not he plays this afternoon. We also have potential for one of Tatum or Brown to rest. Regardless, we need to watch this spot this afternoon and it’s likely we will be interested in at least one Celtics player in our main builds tonight.

De’Aaron Fox

Look for Davion Mitchell to start in his place if he’s out — with Malik Monk, Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis all being in play for DFS in all formats.

Jonas Valanciunas

JoVal has been questionable the last few games and missed some time — it’s the same situation here — if he’s out Hernangomez will start and Jaxson Hayes will see increased minutes off the bench. Brandon Ingram gets the biggest ceiling increase among the other starters.

James Wiseman

Biggest bump here would be to Marvin Bagley — he’s priced at just $5,500 on DraftKings and will be one of the top mid-tier plays on the slate tonight. We currently have him projected as the highest-owned player on the slate due to how thin DET is in the front-court.

Tobias Harris

Harris has been abysmal for the 76ers over the last month and is unlikely to play tonight. If he’s confirmed out — both Harden and Embiid get bumps as they can take even more shots and then Tyrese Maxey and De’Anthony Melton see increased rates as well.

Killian Hayes

Detroit will be without a few guys tonight, but if Hayes misses that would be a really nice boost to Jaden Ivey and Alec Burks placing them firmly in our DFS player pools on all sites.

This is pretty much all for now – check my article this afternoon for any updates! Note: Donny Mitchell is listed Q to play but with him going through shootaround I expect him to play.
