BASICKZ’s Basics – LCS DFS DraftKings (Week 2 Day 1)

February 2nd Week 2 LCS

I’m going to be going over the games that I think should be heavily targeted for the 2nd week of LCS and providing you guys with my core and an easy to follow cheat sheet at the bottom. I also included the scoring system for DraftKings so you can see what I am basing my picks off of if you are new or unfamiliar with the game!

Cloud 9     vs.   Golden Guardians

One game I plan on targeting for the first day is going to be Cloud 9 vs Golden Guardians. The Golden Guardians may have completely overhauled their roster from the last split but they didn’t look very good in the first week and I don’t see it getting better here in week 2. Cloud 9 looked very dominant last week vs 100 Thieves winning in just 25 minutes even though they lost to Team Solo Mid I don’t think that has any indicator on Cloud 9’s strength. I fully expect Cloud 9 to win this game in dominant fashion and get the win in under 30 minutes and secure the win timing bonus.

100 Thieves  vs Team Liquid

The other game I’m looking to target is 100 Thieves vs Team Liquid. Team Liquid is without a doubt the best team in the league this year and should be targeted weekly. 100 Thieves has also went through quite a few roster changes for this split and didn’t look to be fully adjusted last week. I don’t see this game staying very competitive and look for Team Liquid to close this out in dominant fashion. Their jungler Xmithie formerly of Counter Logic Gaming is very objective based and secured 7 dragons last week while only giving up 2.
