Slate Thoughts:

Looking at tonight’s slate, I believe we have a great slate for tournaments.  We have one heavy favorite, in DWG Kia, but beyond that we have 3 matches that could go to either side.  I personally will be dialing back my cash game entries just a bit, and focusing more on tournaments.  The safest team on the slate is going to be DWG Kia for me.  DWG struggled in their last match vs. BRO, and actually looked quite poor throughout the entire match.  Luckily, they get one of, if not the worst, teams in the LCK tonight.  HLE have looked really poor this split, and I see no reason why DK does not sweep HLE here.  If I were playing cash games tonight, DWG would be my first team in.

Now the matchup that really has my attention, LGD vs. TES.  TES really have not looked like the team we watched last split.  They have really struggled to find their footing thus far, and now are taking on an LGD team that is playing very well right now.  Shad0w, xiye and Mark have been very strong for this LGD squad.  Shad0w leads this team with an 80% kill participation.  LGD offer very nice upside tonight, as they average nearly 20 kills in their wins, while TES average nearly 20 deaths in losses.  The same can be said going for TES here as well.  LGD average right at 21 deaths per loss.  I fully expect the winner of this series will be optimal, so I am making it a priority to get exposure to both sides here, but most of my exposure will be on the LGD side.  I believe they take advantage of a TES team that is struggling at the moment.  I have them winning this series 2-1 in 3 high kill games.

Finally I think Thundertalk Gaming needs to be discussed a little in this spot vs. the very poor V5 squad.  TT has much better numbers than V5 this split, in just about every category.  They lead them in GPM, GDM, DRA% and FT%.  With all of this said, TT is still a bad team in their own right.  Both of these teams are winless so far this split, so someone will pick up their first win tonight.  I really like getting to Thundertalk here, because I believe that many will flock to V5 and their extremely low price tags, especially with them being just slight dogs tonight.  I expect Thundertalk will win this series 2-1, but would not be surprised if they swept V5 here.  TT could come with some low ownership tonight.  Majority of my builds tonight will consist of stacking the LPL teams.  I have little to no interest in the LCK teams, other than DWG.

Good luck tonight! Cores for both FD and DK will be posted on the site tonight.
