Slate Thoughts:
We have ourselves a nice 5 game slate on tap tonight, and one that should bring us plenty of great matchups to target. BLG are my obvious choice tonight for cash games. They are taking on a V5 team that just cannot seem to figure things out. BLG have shown solid upside in their wins, but not the upside that others on this slate present. For cash games and SE type contest, BLG are one of the strongest plays on the slate. In cash games, I will be loading up on BLG, with Biuibiu, Zeka and Aiming being the top guys I’m targeting.
Next we have an exciting matchup between two top tier LPL teams, EDG vs. TES. EDG have looked nearly unstoppable this split, only losing a single game to BLG. TES have had their ups and downs this split, but have started to shown their strength and consistency over the course of the last two series. TES will have a very difficult time keeping their momentum going vs this EDG squad, however, Knight is starting to come into his own, and we all know when knight is playing at the top of his game TES can beat anyone in the world. EDG are a team that dominate every statistical category in the LPL, and are winning their series with some impressive fantasy outputs. This is surely a match you are going to want to target tonight. I lean EDG here, and think they are the top scoring team on this slate. TES are absolutely viable in tournaments as well, and if they were to pull the upset here, expect to see the tournament winners sporting a lineup with a 4 man TES stack.
Finally, I want to touch on the LCK matches. With the fire power we have on this slate from the LPL side, LCK teams should go almost unowned. None of the LCK teams project to be nearly as bloody as the LPL squads do. Therefor I will be staying away from these LCK teams. If you wanted to get exposure to one of these LCK teams, I would look towards GEN and NS, but it’s going to be a pass for me tonight. Good luck tonight!
